California Games is a 1987 Epyx sports video game for many home computers and video game consoles. Branching from their popular Summer Games and Winter Games series, this game consisted of some sports purportedly popular in California including skateboarding, freestyle footbag, surfing, roller skating, flying disc (frisbee) and BMX.
The game sold very well, topping game selling charts for winter months. It also got very positive reaction from reviewers, many of whom consider California Games to be the last classic Epyx sports game, due to staff changes not long after its release.
The game was followed in 1991 by California Games II, but the sequel failed to match the original's success.Download rom:

2. California Raisins - The Grape Escape
The California Raisins: The Grape Escape is a California Raisins video game developed by Radiance for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Capcom planned to publish the game in 1990 but its release was canceled due to the California Raisins' dwindling popularity because of the downfall of the sales of raisins in the late 1980s early 1990s.

3. Captain America and The Avengers
Captain America and the Avengers (キャプテンアメリカアンドジアベンジャーズ Kyaputen Amerika ando ji Abenjāzu) is an arcade game developed and released by Data East in 1991. It features the Marvel Comics characters The Avengers in a side-scrolling brawling and shooting adventure to defeat the evil Red Skull. The game received ports for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy and Game Gear. A different version was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

4. Captain Ed
In Captain Ed, the main character (not necessarily named Ed) must fight his way through space (represented by multi-colored tiles) in order to destroy the "7 Masters of Space". Periodically he will have to stop and buy gas or other items. The seven lucky Gods make an appearance as opposites to the 7 Masters.

5. Captain Planet and The Planeteers
Captain Planet and the Planeteers was a video game released for various platforms in the early 1990s, loosely based on the environmentalist animated series, Captain Planet and the Planeteers and produced by the third party developer Mindscape Inc. Three different versions were developed to suit three different platform capabilities, each with markedly different gameplay. The Amiga/Atari ST version was released in 1991, as was the ZX Spectrum/Amstrad CPC version, while the Nintendo Entertainment System version was released in 1992.

6. Captain Silver
Captain Silver (キャプテンシルバー Kyaputen Shirubā) is a side-scrolling action game released for the arcades by Data East in 1987. In the game, the player control a young sailor named Jim Aykroyd who goes on a journey to seek the lost treasure of Captain Silver, facing various perils along the way. Home versions were released for the Master System by Sega and for the NES by Tokuma Shoten.

7. Captain Skyhawk
Captain Skyhawk is a scrolling shooter video game developed by Rare and published by Milton Bradley Company. The game was released in North America in June 1990 and in Europe on May 24, 1994, for the NES. It was also released for the PlayChoice-10 arcade machine.

9. Captain Tsubasa Vol. II - Super Striker
Captain Tsubasa Volume II: Super Striker (キャプテン翼II スーパーストライカー Kyaputen Tsubasa II: Sūpā Sutoraikā) is a continuation of the "Cinematic Soccer" series of games started on the Famicom. Released in 1990 by Tecmo this game is fairly similar to its predecessor but with some slight graphical improvements. It was also the last Tsubasa game to be released on the Family Computer with the series moving to the Super Famicom two years later.

11. Casino Kid
Casino Kid is a casino video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System platform released in 1989. It was published and developed by Sofel. In Japan, the game was released as $1,000,000 Kid: Maboroshi no Teiou Hen (100万＄キッド 幻の帝王編) and is based on the manga series $1,000,000 Kid by Yuki Ishigaki.
